    Helllooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

God's death is never final, nor is God's finality ever death.

For those of you who have doggedly remained my friend for such a long period of silence (or, more probably, due to laziness, but who am I to judge?), I commend you. Should my willy-nilly quoting of that foolhardy Nietzsche really pose a threat to believers' faith?

    I would hope not.

Also, understand that your concept of time is probably quite different than mine, if I have one at all. Without getting into metaphysics, let me assure you that there is really no numerical "scale" with which to measure the difference. This isn't dog-years, here. According to the Christians, I created the entirety of the world in 6 days, so please refrain from any rational attempt at determining the apparent length of my "months-long" absence.

With respect to those of you who wish to be removed from my friends list, I understand. The concept of your God appearing on a popular internet community is, admittedly, a difficult one to grasp. I will do as you ask. But please understand that there are some pretty wwwwwwwacky assumptions taken by all followers of the world's religions. All I ask is that you consider my presence on LiveJournal with the same inner thought and consideration as that which you use when discussing those seemingly far-fetched stories in religious texts such as the Bible. What reasons, beyond your own doubt, are keeping you from doing so?

    None, I would hope.

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately. For an entity beyond rational comprehension, this is usually a pretty big deal. I would like to pose a question to the general community. It's an old, well-discussed paradox:

ASSUME: God is omnipotent. God can do anything.

QUESTION: Can God create a boulder so heavy that she herself cannot lift it?

I know we have a preponderance of Christians in this community. That's all well and good, but I'd love to hear some input from those of other faiths as well.

A note to all the atheists:
For those of you who consider yourselves atheists, agnostics, etc.: I'm an atheist too! I sure don't believe in any supreme being that has control over me. There's certainly no proof. For all I know, I am completely in control of my own choices. Why should I be a religious woman?

So don't worry, atheists. You're just as welcome here as anybody else. I understand your thinking, because I'm of a similar state of mind.

To be quite honest, I really don't care if any of you believe in me or not. I'm fairly certain of my own existance, so I don't need your belief to strengthen my sense of purpose.

What I do care is that you believe in something, be it a divine entity, such as myself, an ideal, or some act of creation. Don't limit your understanding of the world of higher existance to the Bible, the Koran, the I Ching, or any other religious text. What really matters is that you create a higher purpose for yourself. Like me. I've taken to painting little ceramic sculptures of Norse trolls. That's my higher purpose. I hope that this passion lives on long after I'm forgotten. I hope each and every one of my wonderful Children is able to find a similar higher purpose. Something that makes them feel worthwhile. But you don't need to be religious to do that. At least, I don't think so.

    Foosball.
Yes, that's right my Children. Foosball. As your Divine Creator, I am of the solid belief that your life on Earth would be vastly improved by a bit of Foosball. It has such a pleasing aesthetic: Two teams, colored quite differently, yet sculpted equally, battling it out on an all-too-constricted field of play. I find it even more interesting that each team member has an extremely limited range of motion. Indeed, individual team members must act as groups if they are to move at all.

Trust me, my Children. There is much to be learned from the game of Foosball. It may not solve anything immediately, and it might even spark some rivalry. But there is a wealth of knowledge lying on that rod-studded table.

Hell, that's why I created the damn game. And none of you people have even thought about its amazing parallels to life's circumstances. So I guess I finally gave in and told you.

If you do one important thing in the next few days, which I know is a struggle for a lot of you, let it be to play a game of Foosball with a friend, relative, lover, or any combination of the three.

    And on the 8th day...
...God got herself one of those Livejournals everyone's been talking about.

Hello everybody. It's been a while! Muslims, how you guys holding up? Jews? What's happening! Buddhists! Nice to see you again. Hey! Christians! How are you? Satanists, read any good books lately? It really is great to see all of you.

Congratulations on being one of the very lucky few to happen upon the Livejournal of the Creator, Sustainer, and Destroyer. This is my attempt to connect with you people - I'm not that bad! I can be cool and hip just like the rest of you guys!

I need to run - I've got a tropical storm I need to stir up over the Indian Ocean - but look forward to some insightful posts from the one and only Omnipotent!
